基于极限平衡法的煤层钻井井壁稳定性解析模型

An analytic model of wellbore stability for coal drilling base on limit equilibrium method

  • 摘要: 考虑煤层割理、裂隙随机分布及近井壁被切割成块体的特点,建立非均匀地应力和钻井液压力共同作用下的煤层井眼稳定性解析模型。假设井眼附近围岩为拟连续体,采用连续介质理论和岩石断裂力学获取了井壁附近的应力场分布,并借助极限平衡理论分析和Mohr-Coulomb准则,推导了块体滑落作为煤层井壁坍塌条件的解析判据公式。以块体滑落位置和滑落面积为控制条件,利用PFC离散元软件验证了解析模型的准确性。结果表明,对于煤层钻井,钻井液压力越大,井壁坍塌可能越严重;I型块体和III型块体极易滑落引起井壁坍塌,II型块体滑落的条件在于其临近块体先行滑落;对于沁12-10-70-X井,钻井液压力在9.5 MPa左右时,井壁坍塌程度最低,增大或减小钻井液压力均使得井壁坍塌加剧。

     

    Abstract: An analytic model of coal wellbore stability under non-uniform in-situ stress and drilling fluid pressure is es- tablished with the consideration of the random distribution of coal cleat and crack,and the coal near wellbore cutting into blocks. In this paper,the authors consider coal bed near wellbore as quasi continuum,and get the stress distribu- tion of coal bed using continuum theory and rock fracture mechanics. The analytic formula of block sliding,which is considered as a limit condition of coal wellbore collapse,is deduced. Considering positions and area of coal sliding block as control conditions,the PFC software that is one of DEM software is used to verify the accuracy of the analyti- cal model. The results show that the bigger drilling fluid pressure is,the worse wellbore collapse is. Type I and type III block are extremely easy to slide,in contrast,type II block is not easy to slide and the sliding conditions of type II block is that the adjacent block should slide first. For the block that slide along the face cleat,the angle of internal friction and the cohesion of end cleat have little influence on block sliding. For the well named Qin 12 -10 -70 -X, when the drilling fluid pressure is about 9. 5 MPa,borehole collapse has the lowest level,and the increase or decrease of drilling fluid pressure can intensify borehole collapse.
