渝东北地区页岩的稀土元素地球化学特征

Distribution characteristic of rare earth elements of shale in northeastern Chongqing

  • 摘要: 为了查明渝东北城口—巫溪地区上奥陶统五峰组—下志留统龙马溪组页岩中稀土元素的特征、来源及其地质意义,应用电感耦合等离子体质谱法(ICP-MS)对渝东北城口明中地区11件页岩样品的稀土元素及微量元素进行测试,结合前人所测巫溪田坝地区12件稀土、微量元素测试分析结果,全面分析了稀土元素、地球化学参数、空间分布规律及分布模式。研究表明:渝东北城口—巫溪地区页岩稀土元素相对亏损,五峰组页岩中的稀土元素略低于龙马溪组;稀土元素总量∑REE与Sc,Ti,Cr,Zn,Zr,Nb,Th,Hf,Ta等大离子亲石元素元素呈明显正相关,反映了研究区页岩中稀土元素的来源主要为陆源碎屑;在五峰组页岩早期沉积速率、稀土元素及微量元素比值的突变界面,可能是都匀运动(加里东运动第2幕)的影响范围延伸至该地区所出现的沉积响应。

     

    Abstract: In order to find out the characteristics,sources and its geological significance of REE in shale at the north- east of Chongqing Chengkou-Wuxi area of Upper Ordovician Wufeng formation ( FM) and Lower Silurian Longmaxi formation (FM) using inductively couple-plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS),the rare earth elements and trace ele- ments were tested on the northeast Chongqing Chengkou Mingzhong 11 shale samples. The 11 samples tested in this paper were combined with the previous samples of Wuxi Tianba area of 12 samples,the contents of the REE,geochem- ical parameters,geological significance,spatial distribution and distribution patterns were studied. Study shows that the rare earth elements in the northeast of Chongqing Chengkou-Wuxi areaare relatively depleted in shale,and the REE content in the Wufeng FM are slightly lower than in the Longmaxi FM. The correlation between ΣREE and large ion lithophile elements,like Sc,Ti,Cr,Zn,Zr,Nb,Th,Hf and Ta is very good,which indicates that the REE is mainly sup- plied by terrigenous minerals. The abrupt interface of the early sedimentary rate,REE and trace element ratio in the Wufeng FM shale may be the sedimentary response of Duyun movement (Caledonian movement second act)extends to the northeast of Chongqing Chengkou-Wuxi area.
