低温等离子体改性CuO/ZrO2催化剂上乏风瓦斯催化燃烧性能

Catalytic combustion of ventilation air methane over CuO/ZrO2 catalyst modified by low temperature plasma

  • 摘要: 以氧气为改性气体,利用介质阻挡放电反应器,对CuO/ZrO2催化剂进行低温等离子体改性,制备了改性CuO/ZrO2催化剂,用于乏风瓦斯催化燃烧,并分析了其反应动力学特性。研究了等离子体处理时间、氧气空速、放电电压、放电频率及等离子体处理顺序对催化剂性能的影响。结果表明,对CuO/ZrO2催化剂进行等离子体处理30 min较合适;CuO/ZrO2催化剂的活性随着改性气体氧气空速的增大而增强,随着放电电压和放电频率的增大先增强后减弱;用先等离子体处理后焙烧的方式制备的催化剂,其催化性能有所提高,而用先焙烧后等离子体处理的方式制备的催化剂,催化性能不但没有提高反而降低。用改性过的CuO/ZrO2催化剂催化乏风瓦斯燃烧,可使T10降低41℃、T50降低27℃、T90降低35℃,可使反应活化能由71.25 kJ/mol降低为63.19 kJ/mol。

     

    Abstract: The CuO/ZrO2 catalyst was modified using low temperature O2 plasma in a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) reactor and the catalyst modified was used in the catalytic combustion of ventilation air methane.The influence of plasma treatment time, O2 space velocity, discharge voltage, discharge frequency and plasma treatment sequence on the activity of catalyst was investigated.The results show that the optimum plasma treatment time is 30 min.The activity of catalyst increases with the increasing space velocity of O2 and the activity increases as the discharge voltage and discharge frequency increase initially and decreases afterwards.The activity of the CuO/ZrO2 catalyst prepared by plasma treated fist then calcined is higher than that prepared by calcined fist then plasma treated.Therefore, the catalyst modified was prepared by means of plasma treated fist then calcined method.When the catalyst modified was used in the catalytic combustion of ventilation air methane, T10, T50 and T90 was decreased by 41 ℃, 27 ℃ and 35 ℃, respectively.Compared with the conventional CuO/ZrO2 catalyst, the CuO/ZrO2 catalyst modified can depress the apparent activation energy of catalytic combustion reaction of ventilation air methane from 71.25 kJ/mol to 63.19 kJ/mol.
