Mechanical properties and energy characteristics of mudstone under different containing moisture states

  • 摘要: 不同的含水状态对岩石的力学性质和破坏机制有重要的影响。利用RMT-301岩石力学试验机,开展泥岩烘干样、天然样和饱水样在不同围压条件下的三轴压缩试验,研究不同含水状态下泥岩的力学性质和能量机制。结果表明:含水量越低,泥岩吸收的总能量越多;弹性能存储速率在压密阶段和弹性阶段随含水量的增大而降低,在弹塑性阶段弹性能增长速率减缓,失稳破坏阶段含水量越低,存储的弹性能越高,同一围压条件下,泥岩的储能极限随着含水率的增高而线性降低;耗散能在压密阶段和弹性阶段数值较小且增长缓慢,含水率越大,耗散的能量越多,进入弹塑性阶段后,吸收的总能量用于耗散作用的比例急剧增长,含水率越小,增长速度越快。声发射事件率随含水量的增大而降低,随围压的增大而降低,表明含水量越低,围压越小,泥岩内部破坏越剧烈,塑性减弱。

     

    Abstract: Different water content states have important influence on the mechanical property and failure mechanism of rock. In order to study the mechanical property and energy mechanism of mudstone with different moisture contents,the conventional triaxial compression tests under different confining pressures on dried,natural and waterlogged samples are conducted using RMT-301 rock mechanics test system. The results show that with the decrease of moisture con- tents,the total energy absorbed by mudstone increases. In compaction and elastic stage,the elastic energy decreases with the moisture content increases. In the elastic-plastic stage,the growth rate of elastic energy decreases,and in the stage of instability and failure,the lower the water content,the higher the elastic storage energy. The limit of storage energy decreases linearly with increasing moisture content under the same confining pressure. In compaction and elas- tic stage,the dissipated energy grows slowly and increases as the moisture content increases. In the elastic-plastic stage,the proportion of dissipated energy to total energy grows rapidly. The growth rate of dissipated energy increases as the moisture content decreases. The results of acoustic emission show that the higher the moisture content and confining pressure,the lower the rate of acoustic emission events and the less the internal orientation events of rock,which indicates that rock internal failures are more intensive with lower moisture contents and smaller confining pressure.
