新生半焦对神木烟煤快速热解焦油的改质作用

  • 摘要: 煤中低温热解焦油可用于制取液体燃料或高值化学品,提高热解焦油产率和焦油品质是实现热解制油工业化的关键技术之一。半焦作为煤热解反应体系的主要中间产物之一,利用半焦改质煤热解焦油受到研究者的广泛关注。利用热解反应器落下床反应段中神木烟煤快速热解提供稳定的挥发分来源,通过调节下游移动床反应段中快速热解新生半焦(原位半焦)的停留时间,研究了稳态下半焦床层温度和半焦床层高度对煤快速热解焦油改质的影响。结果表明,相较于无半焦-挥发分作用,新生半焦明显减少了沥青质的生成,提高了焦油品质。半焦床层高度为3 cm、半焦床层温度低于610℃时,轻质焦油产率基本不变,轻质焦油中苯酚和其他芳香类含氧化合物含量降低、苯和萘类芳烃化合物含量上升。半焦床层温度高于610℃时,气相缩聚反应增强,不利于焦油品质的提升。半焦床层高度增加后,沥青质产率有所降低,轻质焦油产率基本不变。与挥发分作用后,半焦产率增大,比表面积减小。研究表明,新生半焦改质焦油利于在热解过程中原位减少重质焦油的生成,从而有效延缓或抑制后续处理过程中的结焦和设备堵塞。研究结果可对通过中低温热解进行低阶煤的分质清洁高效利用,进而实现目标产品的定向转化提供借鉴。

     

    Abstract: The tar from the pyrolysis of coal at relatively low temperature can be used to produce liquid fuel or highvalued fine chemicals. One of the key technologies for the industrialization of pyrolysis tar production is improving the tar yield and quality. As one of the main intermediate products of coal pyrolysis reaction system,the char used for improving the tar from coal pyrolysis has attracted wide attention. The volatiles from the fast pyrolysis of Shenmu bituminous coal (SM) in the free fall reaction section of the pyrolysis reactor were upgraded over the nascent char (in-situ char) in the downstream moving bed upgrading reaction section. The effects of char bed temperatures and heights on the tar upgrading at a steady state were studied. The results show that the nascent char reduces the formation of asphaltene obviously and thus improves the quality of tar compared with that without char-volatiles interaction. When the char bed height is 3 cm and the char bed temperature is lower than 610℃,the yield of light tar remains almost unchanged,the contents of phenol and other aromatic O-containing compounds in the light tar decrease and the contents of benzene and naphthalene aromatic hydrocarbons increase. When the char bed temperature is higher than 610℃,the poly-condensation of the gas phase is enhanced,which would adversely affect the tar quality. The yield of asphaltene shows a slightly decrease trend and the light tar yield changes little by further increasing the char bed height. After reacting with the volatiles,the yield of char increases and the specific surface area of the char decreases. The results show that the use of nascent char to modify the coal tar is beneficial to reduce the formation of heavy tar in-situ during pyrolysis,which can effectively delay or restrain the coking and blockage of the equipment in the subsequent treatment process. This work provides a theoretical guidance for the clean and efficient utilization of low rank coal through the pyrolysis at a relatively low temperature,so as to realize the directional conversion to the target products.
