Distribution law of coal structure and perforation optimization method in Hancheng block

  • Coal seams at Hancheng block were damaged seriously by multi period tectonic movements and the coal structure is very complicated.The research of coal structure distribution law in Hancheng area is not sufficient at present.Thus, based on core samples and well logging data, this paper makes the logging identification of coal structure firstly, then studies the distribution law of coal structure and analyses the fracturing effect of different coal structures.The results show that the sensitivity factors of coal structure log response are well diameter and natural gamma.No.5 coal seam of Shanxi group mainly develops fragmented coal and fractured coal.Secondly, reducing the thickness of fragmented coal during perforating process can improve fracturing effect.
