Experimental study on lignite drying based on vibration and mixed flow technology

  • The experimental study of drying characteristics of Jinfeng Shenhua lignite based on SZ-200 t / h vibration and mixed flow drying system was conducted under variable conditions of different hot air temperatures,particle diame- ters and feed-coal quantities. This paper investigates the influence rule of coal particle diameter,feed-coal quantity and inlet air temperature on lignite drying characteristics. The results show that when the drying temperature is constant, the influence of particle size on drying rate is higher than feed-coal quantity,and the smaller the particle size is,the greater the lignite gasification surfaces will be,which greatly accelerates the drying process. The particle size is the main factor influencing heat transfer. When the temperature of drying air increases,and the particle size and amount of feed-coal decrease,the drying effect is better and the quality is higher,that means water effluent rate,calorific value and drying rate are higher.
