Cold model experimental study of coal-fired chemical looping combustion coupling riser based carbon stripper

  • The riser based carbon stripper was coupled into the coal-fired chemical looping combustion system. The flow dynamics of the two type particles mixture and the separation ability of carbon stripper were studied in the cold model system. The results indicate that the system can be operated stably and the solids circulation rate can be adjus- ted in a certain range. In addition,the carbon stripper coupled into the system can effectively separate the two type particles,which can extend the residence time of light particles. Therefore,the carbon capture efficiency can be en- hanced through coupling the riser based carbon stripper into the system.
