Numerical simulation on influencing factors of dust concentration in ore unloading station

  • In order to understand the effect of unloading rate, wind speed, ore particle size and wall condition on the dust concentration in the roadway, the authors use the ANSYS software to study the relationship be-tween dust concentration and those conditions. The results show that the numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the measured results.The proportion of dust concentration in the downhill roadway is proportional to the unloading rate, which is inversely proportional to the wind speed and ore grain size.If the production conditions are satisfied, the unloading rate of 5 000 kg/s, roadway wind speed of 1.5 m/s, the ore particle size increase, and regularly cleaning roadway wall can effectively reduce the dust concentration in roadway.
