Research and application of the technology of forced ventilation diversion to control and reduce dust in fully mechanized excavation face

  • In order to solve the problem of dust pollution in fully mechanized heading face, understand the best relationship between the long forced ventilation and the short dust removal sucking in the heading face, and reduce the dust concentration at heading face to the maximum degree, this paper investigated the high dust yield heading face in Wangjialing coal mine.By establishing CFD calculation model, the effect of dust control of different axial and radial air ratio at fully mechanized heading face is compared, and the parameters range of effective dust control is obtained.The actual field application is verified in order to get the best matching parameters for the process of dust control and removal.The results show that after increasing the air duct along the heading wall for dust control, a fresh air flow transparent wall along the heading wall is formed at the tail of roadheader.Thus, the dust can be controlled in the front of heading face.When the ratio of the axial and radial air is 1:3, the dust is controlled in the smaller area within 4 m range, and can meet the requirements of minimum wind speed in heading face, and the dust can be controlled in the front of heading face.The field application shows that when the ratio of the axial and radial air is 1:3, the dust control effect is best.The total dust and respirable dust concentration at the driver's position and the 5 m position at the tail of driving machine can be reduced to less than 26.1 mg/m3 and 12.7 mg/m3.The dust control efficiency is above 80%, the overall dust efficiency is up to 94%, and the dust reduction effect is obvious.The dust pollution at fully mechanized heading face is effectively mitigated, and the occupational hazards to miners are reduced.
