Permanent magnet intelligent drive system and control strategy of belt conveyor

  • The traditional drive system of mine belt conveyor has the disadvantages of long transmission line,low trans- mission efficiency and low reliability. Aiming at the shortage of traditional driving technology,a permanent magnet in- telligent drive system of belt conveyor is designed,which integrates multi-motor permanent magnet direct drive and permanent magnet tension. The feasibility of the belt conveyor with proposed design are verified by simulation test and field application. Firstly,the structure of the permanent magnet intelligent drive system of the belt conveyor is de- signed. Then,based on the technical characteristics of the sensor vector control permanent magnet motor drive system, the double closed-loop vector control,flexible start and multi motor coordinated control of the permanent magnet direct drive system,the three closed-loop control and slip inhibition of the permanent magnet tension system of the belt conveyor are proposed. On this basis,using MATLAB / Simulink software,the simulation model of the permanent magnet intelligent drive system of the belt conveyor is built,and the correctness of the system is verified at the theoretical level through the simulation analysis. Finally,the advantages of the intelligent drive system of permanent magnet are further verified through field application and economic benefit analysis. Simulation analysis and field test results show that the various control strategies of the intelligent drive system ensure the soft starting of the belt conveyor with heavy load and flexibility,and effectively reduce the impact damage of the dynamic tension on the belt during the start-up. It can real- ize multi motor torque balance of belt conveyor and solve the problem of uneven distribution of multi-point driving power. The tension system has a good coordination with the driving system,which can realize a rapid tensioning. At the same time,the tension system can quickly respond to eliminate the adverse effects of sliding in case of sliding. Com- pared with the traditional asynchronous motor drive system,the permanent magnet intelligent drive system can greatly improve the intelligent degree of the belt conveyor,which is conducive to promoting the intelligent development of mining equipment.
